Haeger Pottery Field Trip

Taylor enjoys the Art show for Opportunity House and the Art Attack students during the recent showing at the Egyptian Theater. She and Susan Edwards are standing in front of one of the giant painting the Opportunity House clients did for their art class.

The Kids watch as Gene explains how the ceramic pieces are loading into the kilns that run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and are 3/4 of a block long!

Gene explains about the larges wheel thrown pot to ever be made. It was commission for Hagger pottery, and was one of the kids favorite parts of the tour.

The Art Attack, 215 W. Elm Street, Sycamore, Illinois 60178 - (815) 899-9440. We are located at 215 W. Elm St., in the heart of Sycamore, IL. It is easily accessible from Rt. 23 and Rt. 64. It is on the corner of Somonauk and Elm St., a block from the County Courthouse.
