"Ever since earning my ceramics badge in Girl Scouts at the age of 12, I have loved playing in the mud. I took art classes all through high school and graduated with an Associates Degree from Harper College in 1995. I mainly concentrate on handbuilt tiles, beads and jars, but recently I have shifted my focus to cloth collages with clay accents."

Going Green Workshop Series
Do you love the environment? Then come to one, two or all of our going green workshops this summer.
- Shopping Bag, Billions of plastic bags are choking our planet.
All of these "free" bags ultimately cost both consumers and the environment plenty:
* Each year billions of bags end up as ugly litter.
* Eventually they break down into tiny toxic bits polluting our soil, river, lakes and oceans
* Production requires vast amounts of oil.
* Countless animals needlessly die each year
* Facts courtesy of http://www.reusablebags.com/
Create a functional and Eco-friendly bag that will be stylish and artistic as well. We will draw, paint, and decorate it with many fun and fantastic ideas. Great for all ages, would be a good parent and child idea. June 14, 1-3:00 pm, $10 for first bag and $7 for second and more
- Memo Board, recycling is a huge part of going green and we will recycle an old frame to make a great memo board. A fun and funky method will be showed to create your own pins. You can use this for the kitchen, laundry room or kids rooms. Ages 10 and up. June 28th, 10-12:00, $20 for first and $12 for second or more
